Evaluation System

Students should carefully note the following evaluation rules:

Students who have opted for English as the medium of learning must answer their papers only in English. If they fail to do so, they will be transferred to the Gujarati medium class.

According to the system of internal evaluation, the University examination will be of 70 marks and the remaining 30 out of 100 marks will be assigned by the college in each paper.

As a part of internal evaluation, the college will conduct tests. Marks obtained at the tests will be averaged to 25.

Five marks will be assigned on the basis of attendance in the class. In English, Commercial Communication and Compulsory Accounts, 3 marks are set aside for attendance and 2 for satisfactory completion of respective work-books in time.

In case of any impropriety or irregularity found in attendance records, the examination committee shall have the right to cancel such a record and in that case the attendance and marks will be considered on the basis decided by the committee, whose decision shall be final and binding.

At Third B. Com. In each paper, project work linked with 5 marks, has been introduced on a voluntary basis.

Students must secure a minimum of 11 out of 30 marks in the internal evaluation in each paper.

A student found copying in the test will be immediately reported to the principal and will be liable to be expelled from the test. He will not be allowed to appear in that paper at the additional test as well and will be liable to be penalized as may be decided by the examination committee.

Education is not confined to the four walls of the classroom or between the cover pages of a book. Education is what helps you flower up with joy individually & contribute to social development. Therefore, the college encourages you to participate in its intellectual, cultural & sports activities. It may encourage such participation with a little consideration in marks for attendances if you get selected for inter collegiate or inter-university events. This will be in proportion to the time you are required to spend for the event.
