- TED is an annual event that brings together the world’s leading thinkers and doers to share ideas that matter in any discipline – (technology, entertainment, design, science, humanities, business, development. The talks at the conference, called TED Talks, are then made available to watch for free on TED.com.)
- In the spirit of “ideas worth spreading,” TED created TEDx, a program of local, self-organised events (that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.)
- The theme of our maiden TEDxHLCC on 25 February was “Let’s Plunge into the World of Doers!”. In sync with our theme we invited speakers who have initiated powerful startups / done things differently, to bring about a change for the better.
