SWADESH VYAKHYAAN ABHIYAN 2025

H.L. College of Commerce organized an expert talk under the Swadeshi Vyakhyan Abhiyaan 2025 on
15th December, 2025. The event aimed to promote awareness among students about the
importance of Swadeshi ideology, Make in India initiatives, and the role of community leadership in
ensuring inclusive growth. The programme provided valuable insights into nation-building through
indigenous practices and self-reliance.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome extended to the esteemed speaker Shri
Hitendrabhai Patel, by our principal Ms. Mona Kelshikar. Following this, she addressed the gathering
and briefly introduced the theme of the event, highlighting the relevance of Swadeshi principles in
today’s globalized economy.
The expert talk was delivered by Shri Hitendra Patel, Pramukh of Gujarat Rajya Prakrutik Kheti
Federation, Spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Chairman of Rudraksh Hospital, and
Mahamantri of Gandhinagar Jilla Leuva Patidar Samaj.

 

He began his address with a silent tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, emphasizing that the
foundation of a strong and self-reliant India lies in Swadeshi values. He highlighted the importance of
Make in India practices, stressing the need to promote local manufacturing, indigenous
entrepreneurship, and traditional knowledge systems. He also spoke about natural and sustainable
farming, explaining its role in ensuring farmers’ economic independence and environmental
sustainability. He further emphasized community leadership and inclusive growth, stating that
development becomes meaningful only when it reaches grassroots levels. He encouraged students to adopt ethical leadership, social responsibility, and actively contribute to nation-building through
Swadeshi initiatives. He concluded his address by motivating students to actively contribute to
nation-building by supporting Swadeshi initiatives and participating in community-driven
development efforts.
After the expert talk, Dr. Akash Joshi, faculty member of HLCC, administered an oath to the students,
encouraging them to uphold the values of Swadeshi, self-reliance, ethical leadership, and responsible citizenship in their personal and professional lives.
The programme concluded with a clear focus on Swadeshi thinking and its practical relevance in
today’s context. The discussions reflected how local practices, community participation, and
sustainable approaches can contribute meaningfully to national development.
