The Harmony Club of HL College of Commerce successfully organized a five day music workshop from 08/08/25 to 13/08/25, aiming to enrich students’ knowledge and skills in the field of music. The workshop was conducted under the guidance of two esteemed music teachers – Balin Sir and Moupriya Ma’am – who brought their expertise, passion, and creativity to the sessions.
Throughout the five days, participants were introduced to both the theoretical and practical aspects of music. The sessions covered topics such as understanding rhythm, vocal techniques, harmonization, and the role of music in cultural expression. Interactive activities, practice sessions, and group performances ensured that students were actively engaged and learning in a joyful environment.
Balin Sir emphasized the fundamentals of rhythm and melody, helping students to refine their listening skills and sense of timing. Moupriya Ma’am guided the participants through vocal training and expression, highlighting the importance of emotion and clarity in performance. Both teachers encouraged students to explore their own creativity and experiment with different forms of music.
The workshop concluded with a short presentation where participants showcased what they had learned during the sessions. The enthusiasm and talent displayed reflected the effectiveness of the training and the dedication of the mentors.
Overall, the five-day music workshop proved to be a highly enriching experience, not only enhancing the musical abilities of the students but also inspiring them to pursue their passion for music with greater confidence.
