TED is an annual event that brings together the world’s leading thinkers and doers to share ideas that matter in any discipline – (technology, entertainment, design, science, humanities, business, development. The talks at the conference, called TED Talks, are then made available to watch for free on TED.com.)
In the spirit of “ideas worth spreading,” TED created TEDx, a program of local, self-organised events (that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.)
The theme of our maiden TEDxHLCC on 25 February was “Let’s Plunge into the World of Doers!”. In sync with our theme we invited speakers who have initiated powerful startups / done things differently, to bring about a change for the better.
