HL College of Commerce organized a one-day Faculty Development Programme on AI Integration for Digital-Era Educators on 1st December 2025 in collaboration with AI CERTs®. The programme aimed to equip faculty members with practical skills to integrate Artificial Intelligence into teaching, content creation, and assessment processes in line with NEP 2020.
A total of 20 faculty members and Principal of HL College of Commerce, along with one participant from A.G. Teachers College, attended the programme. Shri Sriram Nerlekar, Director, AES, graced the event by attending the entire FDP, adding great value and encouragement to the participants.
The sessions were conducted by Utkarsh Sharma, SME Manager, Certified Data Scientist and Intel Certified Machine Learning Instructor. The FDP covered the use of AI tools for effective teaching and interactive learning, AI-enabled content creation for digital platforms, and AI-driven assessment and feedback mechanisms. Faculty members received hands-on exposure to modern AI tools and techniques that can enhance classroom engagement, support personalized learning, and streamline evaluation processes.
The programme concluded with the distribution of Certificates of Participation by AI CERTs® and HL College of Commerce. Overall, the FDP strengthened the digital readiness of the institution’s faculty and contributed significantly to promoting innovative and technology-enhanced teaching practices.
